The hammer and wrench emoji is one of a number of tool emojis available. It shows a single hammer crossed over a wrench. It is usually a realistic representation and is a silver or grey metallic color and often with highlighting and shading to give it a three-dimensional appearance and with the hammer having a brown, yellow, grey or black handle, depending on the platform used. It can be used to represent those who work in the construction industry, engineer, mechanics or repair people. More generally, it can be used to indicate something needs to be or is being repaired, or that someone needs to do renovations at home.
